![]() ![]() However, anyone who plays this game knows, its bug heavy and the AI turns the game into a shoot out by week 7 making sand-box freeplay impossible. Games like Scarface The Godfather are fun to play, but have no replay-ability. A newer game Basement also shows promise but is much too small. A crime management game should have so many details you get lost in them, with an AI that has the same tools as you do. Perhaps in the future it will be possible for these kind of tycoon games to have self-learning AI. Im about to begin Legal Crime, a game like Gangsters, from 1995. I heard the sequels to Gangsters organized crime was terrible, what was the biggest difference Does anyone know of any other crime simulation games that are on the same level or close Or in general if you have any to recommend. Modern graphics, no bugs and some more fleshed out gameplay and balance. The only similar game I know of is Omerta - City of Gangsters. Gangsters 2 was very different from the first game, in a bad way. It would be great to have a business simulation game where you are a mafia boss and manage your legal and illegal businesses, weapon and drug smuggling, wars with other families etc. I wouldnt mind if it would play in a modern Mexico and you are the head of a drug cartel etc. Maybe one day a developerpublisher will pick this idea up and deliver a great game, one can only hope. While Basemant shows promise and is actually not that bad, its just so different from the original Gangsters game. The Red team always seems to win too for some reason, and at one point in one game I was getting attacked every 8 hours. Basement could be so much better if after you secured the initial 16 buildings you could move onto a larger map and have to start over again, only with the capital youve raised at your original base. Your idea sounds awesome, I hope tycoon games become trendier in general in the future. It would be cool to have a sandbox style came where you can join an organization, and move up the ranks through grinding, like in the real world. Gangsters 2 was good, but wasnt really open world simulation, it was more linear story-driven. The first one is entirely simulation - you have a goal, but its just to take over the city - nothing more, nothing less. You could rob homes, businesses, other players, important drugs, have growtrap houses, and create different empires all with different strategies needed. In closeness to Basement, the more you expand the harder it is.
